What is skin longevity?

Skin longevity is the practice of maintaining the skin's structure, resilience, and function over time — rather than chasing short-term cosmetic results. It's how we plan every treatment sequence at CAL MED, from Foundation through Refinement.

Who is Dr Gabriel Cao?

Dr Gabriel is the Medical Director of CAL MED. He holds an MBChB and BSc (Medical Sciences) from the University of Aberdeen and trained across A&E, ENT, facial plastics, breast and reconstructive surgery before specialising in aesthetic and regenerative practice. He's accredited by the Singapore Medical Council Aesthetic Practice Oversight Committee.

Where should I start as a new patient?

Most new patients begin with The Skin Reset — a six-week, doctor-led protocol that calms and stabilises the skin before any intensive treatment. From there, Dr Gabriel recommends the next tier based on your skin assessment and goals.

What treatments do you offer?

Face treatments are organised in six tiers. Foundation (HydraFacial, CAL MED Signature Cleansing Facial, Candela ClearGlow, SynerJet Pro). Stimulation (DEKA Red Touch, Mesoestetic MTS Microneedling, Profhilo, Rejuran HB+, Cytocare 532, Elravie RE20). Restoration (Doublo 2.0 HIFU+RF, Venus Legacy, DEKA Tetra Pro, Frax, Nefertiti Lift). Correction (Candela IPL, BIAxis Q-Switch, Nd:YAG, Cosmelan/Dermamelan). Refinement (botulinum toxin, dermal fillers, Profhilo Structura). Specialised (MonaLisa Touch and consult-led protocols). How is CAL MED different from other clinics in Singapore?

Three things. Every consultation and injectable is performed by Dr Gabriel personally. We are Singapore's first DEKA Centre of Excellence. And we practise candid by design — if a treatment isn't right for you, we'll say so. If a course isn't needed, we won't suggest one.

What is The Longevity Method?

The Longevity Method is our doctor-led membership. It's built around continuity, not packages — a structured assessment with Dr Gabriel every quarter, treatments selected from the full CAL MED menu and sequenced for your goals, priority booking, and member pricing across all six tiers. Three tiers are available.

Restoration

Lift and rebuild — without surgery.

When skin begins to descend, sag, or lose its structural support, restoration is the doctor-led, non-surgical response. Energy-based devices and structural injectables work together to lift the jawline, firm the neck, and rebuild facial scaffolding. The aim isn’t to look like someone else. It’s to look like yourself, well-rested. Every protocol is calibrated by Dr Gabriel Cao to your specific pattern of laxity.

Patients noticing jawline softening, cheek descent, neck laxity, or loss of facial proportion. Most relevant from late 30s onwards, though earlier intervention is increasingly common as a preventive approach.

Patients seeking dramatic transformation in a single session — Restoration works in programmes, not visits. Anyone with active skin inflammation should stabilise on Foundation first.

Combined high-intensity focused ultrasound and radiofrequency in one device. Targets multiple layers of the skin and underlying tissue. Our primary lifting technology.

Venus Legacy RF

Multipolar radiofrequency for skin tightening and firmness. Comfortable, no downtime, and works particularly well as a maintenance modality.

DEKA Tetra Pro CO₂

Fractional CO₂ resurfacing for deeper textural change. For patients ready for a more intensive single-session treatment.

Frax 1550 / 1940

Non-ablative fractional resurfacing. A gentler option that builds results over a series of sessions.

Nefertiti Lift

Botulinum toxin placed along the jawline and neck to lift and define. A subtle, refined technique by Dr Gabriel.

Dermal Filler (HA)

Hyaluronic acid filler used structurally — to rebuild facial scaffolding rather than add volume superficially. Placement by Dr Gabriel.

Profhilo Structura

The volumising version of Profhilo. Bio-stimulation with a subtle structural lift.

Skin reassessment after the initial sequence. Adjustments made as needed. From here, your plan either continues, moves to a new tier, or steps into The Longevity Method for ongoing care.

Questions about Restoration

How is Restoration different from a surgical facelift?

Restoration is non-surgical. We work with the skin’s own ability to lift, tighten, and rebuild — through ultrasound, radiofrequency, and structural injectables — rather than removing or repositioning tissue. The trade-off: results are gradual rather than immediate, and need maintenance over time. The benefit: no downtime, no scars, no anaesthesia, and the look stays natural in motion.

How many sessions does a Restoration programme involve?

Most Restoration programmes run 2 to 4 sessions over 6 to 12 weeks, depending on the patient’s starting point and the devices used. Doublo 2.0 is typically a single annual session. Venus Legacy works as a series of 6 to 8. Injectable elements may be planned separately.

Can I see results immediately?

Some lift is visible immediately after Doublo 2.0 sessions, but the bigger structural change builds over 8 to 12 weeks as collagen remodelling completes. For injectable filler placed structurally, the immediate result settles into its final position over 2 to 3 weeks.

What does Restoration cost?

Pricing depends on the protocol — Doublo 2.0 is typically a single annual session, Venus Legacy is usually a series, and injectable work is priced per syringe or per area. Dr Gabriel gives an honest, itemised quote at consultation. Members of The Longevity Method receive preferential pricing across all six tiers.
