Fillers and toxins are not category decisions. They are millimetre decisions. At CAL MED, every injectable is performed by Dr Gabriel Cao personally. Consultations are professional but candid — because what you actually want, and what’s appropriate for your face, are two conversations worth separating. Restrained, balanced, and reversible where possible. The undetectable era is the only era we practise in.

Patients seeking refined, considered injectable work. Anyone unhappy with overdone results elsewhere and wanting a more restrained, doctor-led approach. First-time injectable patients who want it done properly the first time.
Not For
Patients seeking dramatic transformation in a single session — that’s not how we practise. Anyone uncertain about whether they want injectables at all — start with a consultation, no commitment.

Fine lines (forehead, glabella, crow’s feet), facial expression balance, jawline definition, lip refinement, mid-face support, cheek and chin proportion, masseter reduction, brow position.

Botulinum toxin
For fine lines, expression balance, and selected functional concerns (masseter, jaw clenching). Priced per unit or per area.
Nefertiti Lift
Botulinum placement along the jaw and neck to lift and define. A subtle, signature technique.
Dermal Filler (HA)
Hyaluronic acid filler for structural rebuilding, lip refinement, or specific contour work. Placement by syringe.
Profhilo
Bio-remodelling injection that improves hydration and elasticity. Not a filler, despite being injected — it works differently.
Profhilo Structura
The volumising version of Profhilo. Subtle bio-stimulation with a structural lift.
Rejuran HB+
Polynucleotide injection that repairs the skin at a cellular level. Often combined with other modalities.
Elravie RE20
ECM booster that supports the scaffold the skin sits on. Long-term skin quality work.
Cytocare 532
Skin quality booster for dullness, fine lines, and texture refinement.

HOW A PROGRAMME WORKS
Three steps. The same for every tier.

Consultation
A structured consultation with Dr Gabriel Cao. Skin assessment, history, and a candid conversation about what you actually want — and what’s realistic.

Treatment Plan
A sequenced plan, calibrated to your skin. Session count and cadence depend on the tier and your goals — some need a series, some need a single session. All of it is agreed upfront so you know what you’re committing to.

Follow-up
Skin reassessment after the initial sequence. Adjustments made as needed. From here, your plan either continues, moves to a new tier, or steps into The Longevity Method for ongoing care.
Questions about Refinement
How do I know if I need filler or just botox?
They do different things. Botulinum toxin relaxes the muscles that cause expression lines — forehead, frown, crow’s feet. Filler restores volume or rebuilds structure where the face has descended or thinned. Many patients benefit from a small amount of both, sequenced carefully. Dr Gabriel will give a frank assessment at consultation.
Will I look 'done'?
Not at CAL MED. Refinement is practised in the undetectable era — the goal is for you to look like yourself, rested and well, not like a different version of you. If you’re worried about looking overdone, that’s the right thing to be worried about. Dr Gabriel’s approach is conservative by design.
How long do injectable results last?
Botulinum toxin: typically 3 to 4 months, sometimes longer with regular use. Dermal filler: depending on product and placement, 6 to 18 months. Profhilo: a two-session course lasts approximately 6 months, then maintenance every 6 to 9 months. Rejuran HB+ and Cytocare: results build across a programme and require maintenance sessions.
Can filler be dissolved if I don't like it?
Hyaluronic acid filler can be reversed with hyaluronidase, an enzyme that dissolves it. This is one of the reasons we use HA filler as our primary modality — it’s reversible. Botulinum toxin cannot be reversed but wears off naturally over 3 to 4 months. Dr Gabriel will discuss reversibility as part of any injectable consultation.
